BURLINGTON — Jimmy Gray Hooper, 71, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011, at his home. He was a native of Caswell County and the son of the late Rufus Albert Hooper and Thelma Miles Hooper.
Jimmy retired from GKN in Mebane and was a farmer most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and will greatly be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his son, Todd Hooper and his wife, Sherry, of Caswell County; and a daughter, Nicole Smith and her husband, Troy, also of Caswell County; grandchildren, Hannah Hooper, Noah Hooper and Joshua Smith; and a step-grandchild, Kalah Smith.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 2, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Darrell Massey.The family will be at the home of his daughter, located at 302 Concord Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320.

BURLINGTON — Jimmy Gray Hooper, 71, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011, at his home. He was a native of Caswell County and the son of the late Rufus Albert Hooper and Thelma Miles Hooper.
