Shirley Ann Hall Sutton
BURLINGTON – Shirley Ann Hall Sutton, 76, passed away Wednesday, July 05, 2017 at her sister’s home.
A native of Alamance County, she was born April 6, 1941 to the late Walter Thomas Hall, Jr. and Azalia Mae Hart Hall.
Shirley was of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great -grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Derrick Burton (Joanna), Wayne Sharpe (Andrea), Dwayne Sharpe, Sherman Mann; grandchildren, Christina, Dusty, Chelsea, Elizabeth, Dustin, Kensi, Jaida, Tiffany and Brittany; twelve greatgrandchildren; sisters, Pat Braxton (William), Joyce Cross (Danny), Peggy Wheeley (Jackie); brothers, Jim Hall (Pat), Harold Hall (Lois), Craig Hall and Bobby Hall (Paula).
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Burton; daughter, Reneé Ashley; grandsons, Brent Burton and Cedric Burton; brothers, Larry Hall and Wesley Hall.
A service to celebrate her life will be held 4:30 p.m.on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Steve Regan.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at her sister’s home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
