Randy Dwain Sutton


    GIBSONVILLE — Randy Dwain Sutton, 52, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011. He was born in Rockingham County to Staley “Bud” and Betty Apple Sutton and was the husband of Cynthia Sides Sutton.
    Randy was employed for 20 years with Lorillard Tobacco Company and was of the Christian faith. He was an avid race fan and pool player. He also enjoyed fishing and loved to collect John Deere memorabilia. He was a great man and dad.
    He is survived by his parents; his sons, Michael Ralph Sutton of Gibsonville and James “Jake” Allen Warren Jr. and wife Jennifer, also of Gibsonville; a grandson, Jackson Lane Warren; two brothers, Jeffrey Sutton and wife JoAnn, Danny Sutton and wife Jennifer; and special nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Claudia Sutton; and his maternal grandparents, Harvey and Pauline Apple.
    A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Ken Jackson and the Rev. Dave Gilbert with the burial to follow at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery.
    The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and at other times at his parents’ home in Gibsonville.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or to Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery Fund.
