GIBSONVILLE — Cynthia Sides Sutton, 49, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011. She was born in Alamance County to Pat Delacy and Shirley Mc-Clain Sides and was the wife of Randy Dwain Sutton.
Cynthia was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. She was an avid pool player and a big country music fan. She also enjoyed playing solitaire and loved to fish.
She is survived by her parents; her sons, James “Jake” Allen Warren Jr. and wife Jennifer of Gibsonville and Michael Ralph Sutton, also of Gibsonville; a grandson, Jackson Lane Warren; a brother, Rickey Sides; sisters, Denise Upchurch, Patsy Albright and husband John, Sharon Tucker and husband Mike, Cathy Cook, and Jennifer Sutton and husband Danny; a special friend and caregiver, Shirley Helms; and many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruby Pattishall.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Ken Jackson and the Rev. Dave Gilbert with the burial to follow at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and at other times at her parents’ home in Gibsonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Testament Baptist Church, 1001 Springwood Ave., Gibsonville, N.C. 27249.
