William “Coble” Euliss
 

 
 LIBERTY, N.C. — William “Coble” Euliss, 93, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at his home.
 
 Coble was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, United Methodist Men and the Men’s Sunday School Class. He was also member of the Sylvan Ruritan Club.
 
 He was the son of the late William Alfred and Mattie Coble Euliss and was also preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Wells Euliss; daughter, Phyllis Euliss Tester; sisters, Grace Euliss, Barbara Johnson, Nellie Linens and Mary Rierson; brothers, Glenn, Boaz, Homer and Devoe Euliss.
 
 Surviving are his daughters, Gayle Euliss Park and husband Jerry of Lincolnton and Kathie Rider and husband Chris of Boone; son, Denny Euliss, and wife Kay of Liberty; sister, Lucy E. Clapp; grandchildren, Stan Park, Julie Park Mosteller, Scott Tester, David Tester, Justin Rider, Nathan Rider, Kristel Rider and Michael Euliss; and 13 great-grandchildren.
 
 A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 26 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Chuck Halipilias and the Rev. Carolyn Burrus. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
 
 The family will host a reception of friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 4400 Alamance Church Road, Liberty, N.C. 27298.
 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 4400 Alamance Church Road, Liberty, NC 27298 or to the charity of your own choice.
