Mrs. Lillian Wells Euliss
LIBERTY - Mrs. Lillian Wells Euliss, 94, of Liberty, passed away on July 20, 2008, at Liberty Commons in Burlington.
A funeral service will be held at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008, officiated by the Rev. Todd Struble.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.
Lillian was the daughter of the late Henry Clay and Bessie Duncan Wells and is
also preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis Tester; sisters, Nina Hargrove
and Lottie Wells; and brothers, Duncan and Stafford Wells.
Survivors are her husband of 67 years, Coble Euliss of the home; daughters,
Gayl Park of Lincolnton, and Kathie rider of Boone; son , Denny Euliss of
Liberty; son-in-law, Jerry Tester; sister, Brona Zachery of Graham; eight
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to Liberty Commons
Nursing Home and Liberty Hospice. At the family's request, in lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Mt. Pleasant UMC,
4400 Alamance Church Road, Liberty, N.C. 27298 of Liberty Hospice,
2503 S. Mebane St., Suite C., Burlington, N.C. 27215 or to the charity
