BURLINGTON - Mrs. Estelle Fitts Pore , 71, of 5914 N.C. 62 South died at 8:10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 1993, after two years failing health and two days critical illness, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late David and Lillian Honeycutt Fitts and was a homemaker.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel, Graham, with the Rev. Gregory Clark, the Rev. Curtis Oakley, and the Rev. Norman Fargis officiating. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
Surviving are husband, Mr. Gilbert H. Pore ; daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Doris) Searcy of Graham, Susan Pore Lynch, Mrs. Palmer (Donna) Newcomer, both of Burlington, Mrs. Roger (Wanda) Wrenn of the home; sons, Mr. Jerry F. Pore of Fuquay-Varina, Mr. Larry W. Pore of Orange, Calif., Mr. Gilbert H. Pore Jr. of Mebane, Mr. Phillip L. Pore of Haw River, Mr. Mickey Pore of Siler City; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth McKinney, Mrs. Bobbie Lou Howell, both of Fuquay-Varina; brothers, Mr. Wiley Hunneycutt of Fuquay-Varina, Mr. Robert Fitts of Elon College; 16 grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at the funeral home, other times at the home of the deceased and at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Doris) Searcy, 1847 Bethany Drive, Graham.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 3109 Poplarwood Court, Suite 125, Raleigh, N.C. 27604-1043.
