GREENSBORO — Jeffrey Harold Evans, 48, of Greensboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior while at Moses H. Cone Hospital on Friday, November 28, 2014.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late A. D. Evans, Jr. and Darlene Evans, who survives.
Jeffrey was a service representative for Dixie Sales. Always a loving son, he was an avid sports fan and was devoutly loyal to his many friends and family.
In addition to his loving mother, Jeffrey was survived by 2 aunts and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Rev. Wendell McDowell will officiate. Burial will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday. At other times they will be at the residence of a niece, Carolyn Gerringer 1113 Hermitage Road, Burlington, NC.
