Carolyn Fox, 61, of Mebane passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Peak Resources – Alamance on Monday, July 3, 2017, after her battle with cancer.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Ralph Ray Mills, Jr. and Morine Rice Mills, both deceased. Carolyn graduated from Eastern Alamance High School in 1974. She furthered her education by attending Western Carolina University and obtaining an Associate’s Degree to become a Licensed Practical Nurse which had always been her passion. A majority of her career was spent nurturing and catering to her patients at Peak Resources.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Fox of Burlington; and three sons, Carl Mills of Greensboro, Stephen Fox of La Grange, NC and Anthony Fox of Mebane.
A funeral service will be held at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2 p.m.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Friday at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Burlington from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m.
