MEBANE - Ralph Ray Mills Jr., 75, of 114 E. Laramie Drive, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Duke Hospice in Hillsborough.
Born in Wayne County, he was the husband of Morine Rice Mills, who survives, and the son of the late Ralph Ray Mills Sr. and Eunice Wiley Mills Faircloth. He retired as a supervisor from White's Furniture Company after 40 years of service. He was a member of Mebane Presbyterian Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include a daughter, Carolyn Fox of Burlington; grandchildren, Stephen Fox of LaGrange, Stephanie Fox of Burlington and Anthony Fox of Mebane; sisters, Shirley Conklin and Sally Ziemerman, both of Mebane and Judy Terry of Virginia; brothers, Rayford Faircloth, William Faircloth and Shelton Faircloth, all of Mebane.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane by the Rev. Jeffrey Smith, pastor of Mebane Presbyterian Church. Entombment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, and at other times they will be at the residence.

MEBANE — Morine Rice Mills, 77, of 114 E. Laramie Drive, died Jan. 14, 2013 at the Brian Center in Yanceyville, N.C.
A native of Alamance County, N.C., she was a retired manager of Rose’s Department Store, working there for over 40 years, and a former member of the Merchants Association. She was a member of Mebane Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include daughter, Carolyn Mills Fox of McLeansville, N.C.; grandchildren, Carl Mills, Anthony Fox, Stephen Fox and Stephanie Fox; sisters, Doris Franklin of Swepsonville, N.C. and Jean Fox of Mebane; brother, Donald Rice (Priscilla) of Mebane; and sister-in-law, Jo Rice of Mebane.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ray Mills; parents, William Taft Rice and Annie BellBallRice; sister, Gearline Paulette; brother, Bobby Rice; and brothers-inlaw, James Franklin
and Morris Fox.
