Obituary Online notes for Carl Wesley JESTER
Mr. Carl W. Jester, 83, of Burlington died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 9:14 p.m.
A native of Surry County, he was the husband of Colene Frye Jester, who survives and the son of John Wesley and Maggie Gillespie Jester, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the 101st Air Borne during the Korean Conflict. Carl was a retired textile employee and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include his son, Winston Scott Jester of Burlington and one granddaughter.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Ernest Beck with the family receiving friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Alamance Memorial Park. Other times the family will be at the residence.
