REMAINS ARE HERE
Body of A.W. May Arrived Last Night'
Funeral Arrangements.
The body of A.W. May arrived last night from Winlock, Wash., at which place he took his own life Friday night.
From a letter received in this city it is learned that he had just arrived in the town. Sitting down on the depot platform, he committed the deed in the presence of several bystanders. The coroner was called, and from papers found on the body it was discovered that he belonged to the I.O.O.F. of this city. The lodge at that place promptly took charge of the remains.The letter stated that he had $39.03 in cash and two certificates of deposit one for $75 and one for $40.The remains were taken to Samuels' and this forenoon were taken to the home three miles east of town.Funeral services will be held at the family home tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. The internment will be in the Hunt's cemetery.

A. W. May committed suicide Friday at Seattle. The details of the affair are not known. Saturday lodge No. 15 of the I.O.O.F. received a telegram telling of his death and asking for instructions. The local lodge wired them to send him home. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. David May and was raised in this county, where he has always been highly regarded. He had not decided what business he would enter at Seattle. His parents can offer no theory for his act.
