Her parents were Madison and Temperance May.On Sept. 2, 1925, she was married to Mr. William May. They made their home at 1543 Franklin Ave. in Chariton and this had been her home ever since. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1945.Also preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters and one brother. One brother, Claude May, of Columbus, Ind. survives. She leaves many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.Mrs. May had been a lifelong member of the Evangelical United Brethren church.Funeral services were held at the Chariton Evangelical United Brethren church at 3 p.m., Sept. 2 with the Rev. Ronald Petrak officiating. Burial was in the Chariton cemetery.
