 BURLINGTON — The Rev. Charles Goodman “Charlie” May Jr., 70, of Burlington died at Alamance Health Care Center on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at 2:54 p.m.
 
 A native of Guilford County, he was the son of Charles Goodman May Sr. and Hazel Tickle May, both deceased. He retired as pastor of Rock Creek Baptist Church and was a retired owner of Rich’s Café. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
 
 Survivors include his daughter, Dawn May McDaries and husband Moley of Burlington; son, Dale E. May and wife Crystal of Burlington; three grandchildren, Erin May, Alex May and Tyler Moore; sister, Pattie May Way of Burlington; and mother of his children, Faye May of Greensboro.
 
 The funeral service will be conducted at Calvary Baptist Church on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Ernest Beck, the Rev. Wayne Hall, the Rev. Charlie Agnew and the Rev. Steve Rowe. Burial will follow in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
 
 The family will receive friends at the Rich & ThompsonFuneral Home and Crematory in Graham on Thursday from 6 ‘til 8 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence of the son, Dale E. May, 213 Meadowbrook Drive, Burlington, NC.
 
 Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
