Mrs. Brenda M. Huffines, 75, of Burlington, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at AuthoraCare Collective in Burlington.
A native of Rockingham County, NC, she was the wife of the late Larry A. Huffines and the daughter of the late Benjamin Moore and Virginia Everett Moore. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elon.
Survivors include two sons, David Huffines and wife Cheryl of Ooltewah, TN and Jason Huffines and wife Elizabeth of Burlington; a daughter, Amy Huffines of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Ashley Huffines, Brittany Huffines, David Huffines, Jr., Allorean, Rene, Josh and Caleb; two sisters, Debbie Riddle and Connie Gauldin; and a brother, Ricky Moore.
The funeral service will be conducted at Beulah Baptist Church, 1834 US Hwy 158 E, Yanceyville, NC 27379 on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends at the Church from 11-12 noon, prior to the service and at other times at the residence of Jason and Elizabeth Huffines. The committal service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM, at Alamance Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Collective, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
