Robert “Bob” Troy Webster, Jr.
ELON – Robert “Bob” Troy Webster, Jr, 85 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 30, 2020. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late Robert Troy Webster, Sr. and Margie McAdams Webster Parrish. He was the husband 39 years to Shirley Eastwood Webster who survives.
Bob retired from Lucent Technologies after over 43 years of service. He was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church. Bob was a volunteer with ARMC and he was devoted to his family. He also enjoyed drawing in his spare time.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Eastwood Webster of the home; daughter, Donna Webster Strader and husband, Dana of Burlington; sons, Bobby Webster of Gibsonville, Brian Webster and his significant other, Pam Abner of Burlington, Gary Webster and his wife, Carolyn of Burlington and Jeffrey Scott Webster and his significant other, Virginia Rogers of Burlington; step daughter, Lorie Hall and husband, Tommy of Burlington; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kenneth James Webster and a step son, Jimmy Ray Williams.

Norman, Teresa Perry, Kristie Greeson, Carol Strader, Erin Shaver, Angie Eastwood Younger and Steve Moore.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Steve Pruitt. The burial will follow at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be from 1pm on Monday until 1:45pm on Tuesday prior to the service. The service will be live streamed on our website below.
