BURLINGTON — Mary Ingle Brown, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Hawfields Presbyterian Home. She was born in Alamance County to the late Grady Vance Ingle and the late Lessie Poole Ingle and was married to William Clifton Brown Sr. who died in 1992.
Mary retired from Lewis Boiler Company and was a member of Brightwood Christian Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Toni Brown of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Erin Rumley and Lee Brown; great-grandsons, Canyon Rumley, Keegan Brown and Conlan Brown; sisters-inlaw, Judith Ingle, Emma Lee Ingle and Mary Lou Ingle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepmother, Dewey Walker Ingle; sisters, Virgie Huey, Rosa Billings and Lillie Foster; brothers, Grady “Bud” Ingle, Wheeler Ingle, Keith Ingle, George Ingle and John Ingle.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bruce Church. The family will receive friends from 12: 45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
