ELON — Dennis Rayburn Sutton, 65, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late Stacy Vernon and Odell Murray Sutton.
Dennis was formerly employed by Southern Pride Inc. and Piedmont Steel. He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during peacetime.
Survivors include his brothers, Ricky Sanford Sutton of Elon and Bobby Vernon Sutton and wife, Judy of Yadkinville and nephews, Joel Sutton and Mark Sutton and a great-nephew, Tyler Sutton.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to The Wounded
