GRAHAM - Shirley Mae Foster Black, 60, of Graham passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at her home.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3572 West Greensboro-ChapelHill Road, Liberty, NC with Rev. Andy Clapp officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John William Foster, Jr. and Ola Rierson Foster.
Shirley is survived by her children, Charlotte Black (Ernie Ledford) andWilliam Black (Ashley); and grandchildren, Hailey Riley, David Black, Jordan Carter and Katrina Carter.
The family would extend their most sincere thank you to Authoracare Hospice for the compassionate care shown to Shirley throughout her illness.
