James Howard Faucette
BURLINGTON — James Howard Faucette, 84, of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at Alamance Regional Medical Center due to complications from surgery.
He was born in Alamance County to the late Henry Clifton and Bessie Perry Faucette and was married to the late Betty Whitesell Faucette. He retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco Company. Howard enjoyed fishing, wood-working and flower gardening. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather.
He is survived by his son, Bill (Anne) Faucette of Graham; grandchildren, Brian (Mary) Faucette and Jason (Eunisse) Thomas, all of Graham, and Jeremy (Darcy) Thomas of Snow Camp; great-grandchildren, Berkley and Linen Faucette, Noah and Alison Thomas; and a brother, Gary (Pat) Faucette of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; son, James Robert “Bob” Faucette ; brother, Alton Faucette; and a sister, Darlyne Thompson.
The graveside service will be held at 3 p.m.
Sunday at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. Clarence Toney.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the residence.
