Jerry Colon Lee
   BURLINGTON — Mr. Jerry Colon Lee, 66, of 2124 Belmont Street, Burlington died suddenly at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 8:40 p.m.

   A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Linda Kay Ingle, who survives, and the son of the late Thomas Eugene Lee and Erma Johnson Lee Jones, who survives. He retired as a lifetime car detailer and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alamance.

   In addition to his wife, Linda, of the home and mother, Erma, of Burlington, survivors include two sons, Timmy Lee and wife Tiffany of Graham and Jerry Rabon and wife Melissa of Burlington; a granddaughter, Haley Rabon; an expected grandson in four weeks; one sister, Becky Allison of Graham; two brothers, Johnny Lee of Hillsborough and Wayne Lee and wife Peggy of White Cross; six nephews, Sammy Lee, Tommy Allison, Jimmy Allison and Jason Allison, all of Burlington, Thomas John Lee of White Cross and Robert Lee of Hillsborough; one niece, Theresa Lee of Mobile, Ala.; and sister-in-law, Debra Lee of Graham.

   He was preceded in death by a stepfather, Robert L. Jones; and brother, Sammy D. Lee.

   The funeral service will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Alamance on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Daniel Gregory and the Rev. Don Swinney. The body will be taken to the church at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service to lie in state.

   The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence and at the home of Timmy Lee, 719 Wendy Drive, Graham, N.C.

   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Alamance, P.O. Box 190, Alamance, N.C. 27201.
