Mrs. Judy Tate McBane

ELON — Mrs. Judy Tate McBane, 63, of 3950 NC 87 North died Friday, April 11, 2003 at Alamance Regional Medical Center following a two day illness.

She was the wife of James E. McBane who survives and the daughter of the late John Burch and Ethel Whitesell Tate.

She was a native of Alamance County and formerly employed at Nypro of Carolina.

She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband of the home, son; Benny McBane of the home, brothers; Wayne Tate and his wife Geraldine and Dale Tate all of Elon.

She was preceded in death by a brother; Carter D. Tate.

The funeral will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Christian Church by Rev. Dave Gilbert.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. this evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the home.
