Barbara Browning Perkins
BURLINGTON – Barbara Browning Perkins, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Hospice Home.
She was a native of Alamance County, the wife of the late Floyd A. Perkins for 50 years and the daughter of the late John S. Browning and Mary Michael Browning.
She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and the Ever Ready Sunday School Class.
She is survived by three sons, Floyd A. Perkins, Jr. (Becky), Paul A. Perkins (Valetta), Ricky D. Perkins; four grandchildren, Clinton Perkins (Lisa), Chad Perkins, Emily Perkins, William “Bill” Perkins (Nicole); great grandchildren, Hailey, Nick, John and Ayden Perkins and a step great granddaughter, Katrina Jester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Roger Wayne Perkins, sister, Coleen B. Agnew and brothers, John Edison Browning and Paul Michael Browning.
The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Bethlehem Christian Church by Rev. Todd Felkel and Rev. Zach Bright with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at Paul’s home, 3233 Altamahaw Union Ridge Rd. in Burlington.
