OBITUARIES Mrs. Virginia Soyars Boggs Wrenn 
    GRAHAM — Mrs. Virginia Soyars Boggs Wrenn , 94, of 3336 Stoney Creek Church Road, Elon, died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at Alamance Health Care Center after two months of failing health.

    Born in Patrick County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Major Thomas Soyars  and Georgia Cruise Soyars . She was married to the late Williams Boggs  and the late Melvin Wrenn . She was a retired manager of Long Beach Camp Ground. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and attended Bethlehem Christian Church. She was a loving sister, stepmother and step-grandmother.

    She is survived by stepdaughters, Mrs. Maxine W. Sharpe and husband Ray of Elon, Mrs. Sherrion W. Danieley and husband Donnie of Burlington, and Mrs. Peggy B. Farrell and husband Glenn of Graham;

stepsons, Mr. Vance Wrenn  and wife Inez of Reidsville, Mr. Therwell Wrenn  and wife Ann of Elon, Mr. Clelon Wrenn  and wife Joan of Burlington, Mr. Curtis Wrenn  and wife Myrtie of Elon, and Mr. Carl Wrenn  and wife Kaye of Elon; a

stepdaughter-in-law, Mrs. Jeanette Boggs  of Graham;

sisters, Mrs. Jessie Durham Martin of Martinsville, Mrs. Minnie Troutman of Graham;

a brother, Mr. Silas Soyars  of Ringgold, Va.; 25 step-grandchildren, 45 stepgreat-grandchildren, 8 step-greatgreat-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

    She is predeceased by stepsons, Mr. A.D. Boggs  and Mr. Norman Boggs ; four sisters, three brothers, and one stepgrandchild.

    The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Christian Church with the Rev. Dave Gilbert and the Rev. Bud Wrenn  officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham and at other times at the residence of Maxine and Ray Sharpe, 3352 Stoney Creek Church Road, Elon, NC 27244. The body will be placed in the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
