With quiet grace, Pricilla Lane “Lucy” Gerringer Bell passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at her home.
Pricilla was born on August 12, 1945 in Guilford County to the late John David Gerringer and Lillian Daniels Gerringer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jerry Leon Bell; her aunt, Margaret Daniels Walker of Prospect Hill; her sister-in-law, Angie Hopkins of Alamance; three nephews, Gary Hopkins, Ricky Bell, and Ray Bell and their wives; and several cherished longtime friends.
Over the course of 60 years, Pricilla was Secretary for Elon Home for Children, Elon, NC; Secretary/Accounting for Byrds Food Center, Burlington, NC; Sales for Ray Moving & Storage, Burlington, NC, Piedmont Movers, Elon, NC, Coley Moving & Storage, Burlington, NC, and West Durham Transfer & Storage, Durham, NC.
Pricilla graduated the 1st Senior Class of Western Alamance High School in 1963. She attended afterward at Elon College, Elon, NC.
Those who were privileged to know Pricilla as a friend would confirm that she was faithful, kind, and generous. Her humor and adventurous spirit will be greatly missed.
Pricilla was a member of Shallow Ford Christian Church, Elon, NC.
Services will be conducted at Shallow Ford Christian Church on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
