Angela Coudriet Tickle
BURLINGTON – Angela Coudriet Tickle, 53, of Burlington, died on Friday, December 16, 2016.
A native of Roanoke, Virginia, she was the wife of Jimmy Douglas Tickle and the daughter of Gregory Joseph Coudriet, Jr. and Helen Fink Coudriet.
She was a packer inspector and a member of the Lamb’s Chapel.
Mrs. Tickle loved to put puzzles together.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughter, Neallie Elizabeth McCume; two grandchildren, Keeley and Chloe McCume; three sisters, Terry Perry and husband Robert, Susanne Coudriet, and Michelle Webster and husband Tim; her brother, Gregory Joseph Coudriet, III and wife Kelly; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Garland Tickle.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel.
Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service and at other times will be at the residence.
Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington is assisting the family.

Jimmy Douglas Tickle
BURLINGTON - Jimmy Douglas Tickle, 73, of Burlington passed away at theAuthoraCare CollectiveHospiceHome Center on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 after an extended illness.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Angela Coudreit Tickle and the son of the late Garland Oakley Tickle and the late Bernice Christman Tickle.
Mr. Tickle grew up in Elon and graduated from Western AlamanceHigh School. After high school he attended Fire Safety School which led to years of service as aVolunteer Fireman atNorthside Fire Department in Rockingham, NC. He later served as the Fire Chief and trained many of their volunteer firefighters. Later in life he returned to Burlington and retired as an quality control analyst with Nypro Inc.
Jimmy loved to garden and had quite the green thumb. In his healthier times, he would have beautiful rows of flowers and vegetables in his garden beds. He enjoyed being outside and working on projects at his house. He was an avid Duke fan and loved watching basketball games. He was also a music lover with his favorite band being the Rolling Stones.
He was previously married to the late Forestine Reynolds Tickle with whom he shared a daughter. He is survived by his loving daughter, Beth McCune and her husband Jack; his beloved granddaughters, ChloeMcCune and Keely McCune; his doting sister, Karen Tickle Allen and her husband Gary; brother, Richard Garland Tickle. He also shared four step children from his first marriage; Betsy , Lori, Dana, and Doug.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. The committal service will be held at AlamanceMemorial Park immediately following the funeral service.
