BURLINGTON - Sherri Ramona Simpson Hall, 58, of Burlington died suddenly at her home on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Born in Alamance County on January 18, 1959 to the late Harold Dean and Lora Bernice Denson Simpson, she was the wife of Mark Meadors Hall for 34 years.
She was a lifetime member of Shamrock Evangelical Methodist Church and was a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant with Alamance Eye Center for over 30 years. Sherri enjoyed yard sales, collecting jewelry, shopping on QVC and traveling to the beach with her beloved husband.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; sister, Cindy Rudd; brothers, Robert Simpson and Mark Simpson, and his wife, Clarissa; nieces Crystal Pope and Heather Dunn and her husband, Brett; and great-nephew Cody Pope. She was preceded in death by her parents and greatnephew, Tyler Whitaker.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel in Burlington by Pastor Brian Wardlaw. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the chapel. The burial will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at Alamance Memorial Park. At other times, the family will be at the home at 2231 Walker Avenue, Burlington NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shamrock Evangelical Methodist Church, 3719 Maple Avenue, Burlington, NC 27215.
