BURLINGTON – Debra Ella Welborn Ross, 52, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 15, 2017.
She was born in Guilford County on September 1, 1965 to Edgar Vernell Welborn and Dedra Sue Ellington and was the wife to Donald Paul Ross of 32 years who all survive.
Debra enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, maw-maw, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed.
Survivors other than her husband, Donald; her parents, Edgar and Dedra includes her son, Joseph Ross and his spouse, Jessica James; daughter, Dedra Danyale Ross and her spouse, Justin Wilmoth; grandchildren, Matthew Tate, Lucas Stewart, Kaylee Stuart, Grayson Ross and Ian Ross; brothers, Randy Welborn and William “Billy” Pendergraph; sister, Teresa Ellington; seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Welborn and a nephew, Josh Isley.
The celebration service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 2 p.m.at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Brian Biggers. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home.
