JAMES PAUL ROSS REIDSVILLE - James Paul Ross, 61, of 2504 Daffodil Road, died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at his home.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 1998, at Bethlehem Christian Church in Altamahaw, with the Rev. Dave Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Alamance County, he retired from Lorillard with over 28 years of service. He graduated from Altamahaw-Ossipee High School and was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church in Altamahaw. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Jasper Ross; daughter, Zetta Ross Isley and his step-father, Samuel Edward Somers.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Warf Ross of the home; son, Donald P. Ross and wife, Debbie of Burlington; daughter, Sylvia R. Bazal and husband, David of Mebane; mother, Blanche Ross Somers of Burlington; sister, Janice R. Williamson and husband, Bennett of Pensacola, Fla.; brothers, Bennett Ross and wife, Virginia; Eddie W. ``Dub' Ross and wife, Alice Faye; and Dan Ross and wife, Claudette; all of Burlington; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
