Patricia Terrell Graves, 92, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

Patricia was born January 14, 1931 in Alamance County, NC. She was the wife of almost 70 years to the late Fred Banner Graves and the daughter of Hubert Terrell and Dora Fogleman Terrell, both deceased.

Mrs. Graves retired from Kayser Roth, where she worked in data processing. She was a member of Low’s Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, was a Circle member, choir member and served on the church counsel. She also volunteered with the Alamance County Board of Elections. Mrs. Graves also enjoyed quilting and was an avid painter.

She is survived by three children, Fred Michael Graves and wife Nancy, Bonny Graves Whitsett and husband Dr. Danny Whitsett and Kim Graves York and husband Ernie; seven grandchildren, Max Graves and his wife Amanda, Mandy Graves Rice and her husband Caleb, Sean Whitsett, Carrie W. Marklin and her husband Joshua, Ashleigh Y. Denny and her husband Chris, Charlie York, Lindsay York and her husband Corey Hess; seven great-grandchildren, May and (Zach), Chris, Allison, Olivia, Cameron and Eleanor; one great great-grandchild, Waylon Coffer; and one sister, Jackie Martin.

The funeral service will be conducted at Low’s Lutheran Church on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm by Rev. John Mark Beam, III. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
