A. L. Mann
October 6, 1939 ~ April 25, 2024 (age 84)
A. L. Mann, 84, of Graham, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the Hospice Home in Burlington.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Ella Rae Mann and the son of the late Alton Lee Mann and the late Pearl Bailey Mann. A. L. was the owner and operator of A. L. Mann and Son Masonry.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Belinda Mann Lloyd; sons, Len Mann and his wife Karen, Ted Crawford and his wife Anita and Patrick Crawford; daughter-in-law, Robin Mann; grandchildren, Jennifer Congdon (Nathan), Kendra Cashion, TC Crawford (Lauren), Rene Crawford, Alex Chappelle (Clint), Justin Crawford(Kyle), Lexie Crawford, Mikayla Mann (Makayla), LeeMann (Karla),, Tristan Mann (Paige), Brandy Kelly (Josh) Brandon Lloyd. Great Grandchildren, Blake Congdon, Ian Congdon, Tage Doutt, Ella Byerly, Adam & Haddie Crawford, Amelia & Wesley Chappelle, Palmer Crawford, Gabriel Vanderpool, Adriana Mann, Camden & Madison. With three more great grandchildren on the way.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Al Mann and two granddaughters Melissa and Megan Mann Riggans and one great grandson,William Riggans.
A.L. was a had worker, owning his own masonry business for over 44 years. He loved his family. He enjoyed sports and farming. He helped coach several baseball and softball teams over the years. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and fishing. “Pop” as he was called by his grandchildren loved going to their events and cheering them on, from dance recitals, cheer competitions, cow shows and many different sporting events. He also taught Sunday school and was a faithful godly man.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends one hour prior the funeral service.
Burial will be at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, Graham.
