EDEN - Luzanie Portis McDaniel, 98, formerly of 106 N. High St. died Saturday evening, Sept. 25, 1999, at Morehead Nursing Center.
Graveside service will be 4 p.m. Monday afternoon in Danview Cemetery.
Born in Patrick Co., Va. and was of Baptist faith.
Survivors are daughters, Mamie M. Taylor of Cascade, Va., Margaret McDaniel of Ruffin, Ruth Carmon of Gibsonville, Kathleen Lovings and Nora Jean Wolfe, both of Greensboro, Hersey M. Calliout of Eden, Carrie M. Branch of Goose Creek, S.C. and Lalia M. Wilson of Eden; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Albert Ralph McDaniel; daughters, Pauline M. Dew and Agnes Elaine McDaniel.
