OBIT: Gladys Busick Outen, age 89, of 6422 Osceola-Ossipee Road, passed away Friday July 31, 2009 at her home. A native of Virginia, Gladys was the wife of the late James Dial Outen, Sr. and daughter of the late Charles Vernon and Ada Vallie Brown Busick. Survivors include her granddaughter, Marlo Mackey of Salisbury, MD; sisters, Willard "Wick" Peeples of the home and Lucille "Coonie" Zimmerman and husband Raymond of Gibsonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, James D. Outen, Jr.; sister, Pat Smithey; brothers, Verlin W. Busick and Harold V. Busick. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury, MD.
