George W. Alexander,83,died on Apr. 16,1940 of Nephritis. He was born Mar. 1857 a son of Thomas and Lucinda (Harshman) Alexander. He was married on Apr. 2,1878 to Martha Ann Whitesell,who preceded him in death.
Survivors are four daughters;Mrs. Della Loch of Indianapolis,Mrs. Ruby Washler of near Winchester,Mrs. Lester Arthur of southwest of Bartonia and Miss Pearl Alexander a teacher in Ky.;and one son,Pierre Alexander of Portland. he was the last of 12 children.
Fraze funeral home in Union City handled the arrangement. Burial was in New Lisbon.470, George Washington Alexander
