LYNN, Ind. -- Basil Arthur, 77, of Lynn, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Feb. 9, 1926, to Lester and Lenna Alexander Arthur, the World War II Marine veteran was a farmer and had worked at Union City Body Co.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; daughters, Susan Gibson, Linda Arthur; brothers, Lloyd, Noel, Stanley Arthur; sister, Doris Lake.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Thomas Funeral Home, Lynn, where visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. 470, Corp Basil Arthur
