JOHNSON, Barbara Vest, 62, of Pulaski and formerly of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, September 19, 2000 at Pulaski Community Hospital.
She was born October 20, 1937 at White Gate, Virginia, the daughter of James J. Vest, Dublin and the late Willie Gray Peery Vest.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude Johnson.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a stepmother, Mary Vest, Dublin; two sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy Louise Vest, Marion; Judy and Otis Feaganes, Staunton; also several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the A. Vest and Sons Funeral Home chapel, White Gate with the Rev. Jo Ellen Hetherington officiating. Burial followed in the Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. 470, Barbara Allen Vest Johnson
