Shelby Vest Johnston, age 57, of Princeton, WVa., and formerly of Trigg, Va. died Thursday, December 22, 1994 in a Princeton, WVa hospital.
She was born February 13, 1937 at White Gate, the daughter of Lucille Underwood Vest, Dublin, and the late Luther Powell Vest.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William Eugene Vest; and one sister, Nellie V. Kelly.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Kenneth and Jeannie Johnston, Pearisburg; and Jerry and Kim Johnston, Christiansburg; one daughter, Linda Carver, Maybrook; one brother Jay Vest, Dublin; one sister, Shirley Jarrell, Dublin; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 26 at the A. Vest and Sons Funeral Home chapel, White Gate, with the Rev. Shaun Wilburn officiating.
Burial followed in the Stinson Cemetery, White Gate. 470, Shelby Jean Vest Johnston
