Mr. Richard Arden Tate
FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. — Mr. Richard Arden Tate, 61, of 111 Allison Drive, died at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville, S.C.
A native of Burlington, he was the husband of Mrs. Carole Tate, who survives, and the son of Mr. Millard Tate and Mrs. Maureen Tate, who both survive. He was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church in Burlington and attended Way Cross Baptist Church in Pelzer, S.C.
Survivors other than his wife of the home and his parents of Burlington include a son, Mr. Richard Arden Tate II and wife, Sylvia Tate, of Simpsonville; and two granddaughters, Jennifer Tate and Tabitha Tate, both of Simpsonville.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Jamie Collins, and the Rev. Greg Barkman. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.3, Mr. Richard Arden Tate
