Boyd Wilson, Jr. age 92, of Knoxville passed away on Monday October 18, 2021.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a proud United States Marine having served in the Korean War.
He sold cars for over sixty-five years, and rode motorcycles into his eighties.
He had a big heart for people and loved spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by parents, Boyd and Edna Wilson; daughter, Kim Wilson; grandson, Brian Reed; and great granddaughter, Paislee Magee.
He is survived by wife, Deborah Wilson; children, David (Sara) Wilson, Pam (Kevin) Cummins, Wendy (Mike) Cox, and Kevin Rogers; six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sister, Polly Pulliam; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to offer special thanks for Avalon Hospice of Knoxville and Morristown.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mr. Wilson's honor can be made to your favorite charity.
The family will meet at 9:45 am Tuesday October 26, 2021, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Highway) for a 10:00 am graveside service with Chaplain Joe Hamlet officiating and full military honors. 470, Boyd Wilson Jr.
