Janet R. McLary, 65, passed away Sunday morning, February 3, 2008 at Community Hospital South. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born March 29, 1942 in Sikeston, Missouri to Ernest and Marie (Street) Hunt. She married Richard L. "Dick" McLary on July 15, 1961. He survives. Survivors include one son, Jeffrey L. (Debra) McLary of New Palestine; one daughter, Stephanie L. (David) Abrams of Greenwood; mother, Marie Hunt of Franklin; brother, David Hunt of North Carolina; two sisters, Carmen Pierce and Linda Isley, both of Franklin; four grandchildren, Justin and Jacob McLary, and Jessica and Nicole Abrams.
She was employed as Manager of Office Services for Indiana Insurance Guaranty Association for 24 years, retiring in 2002.
Janet was a member of the Community Church of Greenwood. She was active with Bible Study Fellowship.
