Obituary Online notes for Richard Lee McLARY
Richard Lee McLary, 78, of Greenwood, IN, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, Greenwood. Pastor Steve Schellin will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.

Richard was born June 29, 1940 in Morgantown, IN, to Dale and Irene (Waltman) McLary. He graduated from Morgantown High School in 1958 where he played varsity basketball. He married Janet Ruth Hunt of Whiteland, IN on July 15, 1961. Richard was a member of the Indiana National Guard in the 1960's. Richard was Territory Manager with Navistar where he was National Award Winner for Parts Manager of the Year two consecutive years: 1981-1982. He was also in the Triple Diamond Club, the highest award you could win for the company.

He spent his free time playing golf, visiting with his Christian friends and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his two sisters; his son; his daughter; and four grandchildren.
