Obituary Online notes for Harold Allen PARKS
Allen Parks, 74, of Eaton, OH, passed away Tuesday night, May 19, 2015 at his home following a lengthy illness.

Born January 4, 1941 in Eaton, he was a son of the late Harold Russell & Mary Jane (Duvall) Parks.

Allen retired after 30 years the Delco Division of General Motors, Moraine Plant.

He served 4 years with the Army National Guard; was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton; and enjoyed hunting, caring for and training his bird dogs, and was a collector of pocket knives.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by on March 23, 2008 by wife Patty L. (Horine) Parks: and by brother Jimmy Parks in 1964.

Survived by children Randy Parks & wife Pauletta of New Paris, OH; Teresa Hofacker & husband Rocky of Castine, OH: grandchildren Brittany Saylor, Trever Parks, Ryan Hofacker and Jared Hofacker: great grandchildren Adessa, Levi and Dalton Saylor: sisters Linda Moore of Eldorado, OH; Marilyn Shepherd, Judy Smith and Wanda Cooper all of Eaton.

Friends may call on the family from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Roger Stine presiding.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Hospice of Dayton, or the Wounded Warrior Project. Burial Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
