Mrs. Lahoma Overman Clapp
    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Lahoma Overman Clapp, 90, of White Oak Manor, Burlington, formerly of Burlington Road, Whitsett, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at White Oak Manor after four years of declining health.
    A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late Luke V. Clapp, and the daughter of the late Charles Overman and Mamie Boone Overman. She was a member of Gibsonville United Methodist Church.
    Survivors include a son, Mr. Larry Clapp and wife, Betty, of Elon; two grandchildren, Mrs. Sheri Owen and husband, Alvin, and Mr. Greg Clapp and wife, Carmen; four greatgrandchildren, Jason Owen, Gary Owen, Lacy Clapp, and Ben Clapp; a brother, Mr. Douglas Overman of Whitsett; and a sister, Mrs. Frances O. Busick of The Oaks of Burlington.
    She was preceded in death by four sisters, Lillian Cheek, Ethel Overman, Margie Overman, and Edna Overman; and two brothers, Clifton Overman and Clyde Overman.
    A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2004, at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. David Green, and the Rev. Don Overman.
    The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Clapp, 2214 Boone Road, Elon, N.C. in Caswell County.
