Mr. Carl “Bud” Lloyd McIntyre, Sr., 87, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 10:48 a.m. following a few weeks of declining health.A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Betty Strader McIntyre, who survives and the son of Carl R. McIntyre and Ruth Blalock McIntyre, both deceased. Mr. McIntyre was a retired plant supervisor in the textile industry. He enjoyed playing golf, drag racing and playing baseball. Bud was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include three children, Margie Revill (Andy), Sammy McIntyre (Cindy) and Anne Gross (David); step-daughter, Teresa Parrish (Billy); two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and six siblings, Betty Hermansdorfer (Jim), Ray McIntyre (Pat), Ken McIntyre (Carol), Nancy Trent (Bill), Mark McIntyre (Gwen) and Sue Baggett (Max).A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev.
