Obituary Online notes for Ollie Mae BROWN
REIDSVILLE Ollie Brown Chrismon , 100, formerly of 2614 South Scales Street, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002 at the Morehead Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at First Congregational Christian Church and the burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Chrismon was a native of Guilford County and the daughter of the late John Mebane and Susan Wagoner Brown. She was a homemaker. She was the oldest and a very faithful member of First Congregational Christian Church. Mrs. Chrismon was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Capers Chrismon .
She is survived by her children, Garland Chrismon and wife, Colleen of Reidsville, Becky Rakestraw and husband, Watson of Eden and Pat Kopko and husband, Robert of Monessen, Pa.; grandchildren, Mike Chrismon , Tom Rakestraw, Scott Rakestraw, Susan Allen and Melissa Zanardelli; eight great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Eva Daniels of Reidsville.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at her residence.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Christian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 2002, Reidsville, N.C. 27323-2002.
