Obituary Online notes for Roy Capers CHRISMON
REIDSVILLE - C. Roy Chrismon , 93, of 2614 S. Scales St. died Sunday at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Congregational Christian Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
A Guilford County native, he was a retired employee of the American Tobacco Co. and a World War I Army veteran. He was also a retired carpenter.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Ollie Mae Chrismon ; son, Garland Chrismon of Reidsville; daughters, Mrs. Patricia Kopko of Monessen, Pa., Mrs. Rebecca Rakestraw of Eden; sisters, Mrs. Raymond Scott, Mrs. Eva Daniel, both of Reidsville; five grandchildren.
The family will be at Wilkerson Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Congregational Christian Church Building Fund. 419
