Mrs. Ruth Henson Gerringer, 74, of 2402 Denver Drive, died June 11, 1996, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Forbis & Dick, North Elm Street Chapel. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Gerringer was born in Guilford County. She was a retired employee of Cone Mills, White Oak division. She was a member of Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, and was in fellowship at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel. She was also a member of the Cone Club.
She is survived by her sons, Cleo 'Sonny' Gerringer, Jr., James Gerringer, and Jerry Gerringer, all of Greensboro; daughter, Ann Sharpe of Greensboro; eight grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, 900 Sixteenth St., Greensboro, N.C. 27405.
The family will receive friends at Forbis & Dick, North Elm Street Funeral Home tonight from 7-9 p.m., and other times at the home, 2402 Denver Drive.
