Mrs. Beaulah Porter Mansfield
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Beaulah Porter Mansfield, 82, of 534 Spence St., died at 5:05 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after two years of failing health, one week critical.
A native of Concord, she was the wife of the late Mr. Kalsie Kalvin Mansfield and the daughter of Mr. William Clayton Porter and Mrs. Mattie Lee Patton Porter, both deceased.
She was a homemaker and a member of Altamahaw Baptist Church, where she was a member of Sunday School Class No. 204.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Peggy Moore of Gibsonville, Mrs. Shirley Page of Elon College and Mrs. Ricky (Brenda) Flood of Graham; a son, Mr. Melvin Mansfield of the home; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Walter Jones, pastor of Altamahaw Baptist Church, and the Rev. Olin Tatum, pastor of West Burlington Church of God.
Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home from 7 to 9 this evening and at other times at the home of Mrs. Shirley Page, 2641 N.C. 100, Elon College.
