Beamon Rogers Busick


    BURLINGTON — Mr. Beamon Rogers Busick, 77, of 11933 N.C. 119 South, Burlington died at Duke University Medical Center, Durham on Monday, July 20, 2009 following a brief illness.
    A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of Patricia Hayes Busick, who survives and the son of Sanford Busick and Huberta Hardy Busick, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired farmer and operated a Quail Farm and Hunting Preserve. He was an active member of Quail Unlimited.
    In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include his daughter, Cynthia Ann Maner of Burlington; his son, Roger Dean Busick of Burlington; and four grandchildren, Diana, Crystal and Dean Busick and Morgan Maner.
    The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery in Caswell County.
    The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of the son, Roger Dean Busick, 12097 N.C. 119 South, Burlington, N.C.
    Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
