Mr. Rodney Lee Cook best known as "Cook" went home to be with the Lord on Saturday July 6, 2024.
He was the son of the late Austin Lee Cook and Emma Jean Gerringer Cook, born in Alamance County on February 21, 1960.
Western high school and Elon College alumnus. As a young man he was a musician playing saxophone with local bands.
Over 20 Years at West Point Stevens and later retired as Co-Owner operator of 3C refrigeration. "Cook" was a avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and porch sitter. Dog lover, and hounds man, he was a former president and judge with the Stoney Creek Coon club. Loved to cook especially on the grill, he also was an excellent pie maker. He was a devoted husband and a better father than anyone could ask for.
He is survived by wife Cathy Cook, son Hunter Cook, and grand puppy Cool Cook.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, July 12, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 1-1:45 PM prior to the service. Committal Will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
